Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, statistics, mathematics, engineering or related Supply Chain fields • At least up to 5 years’ experience • Experience in retail environment with hands-on knowledge of retail processes and procedures • Strong accuracy & precision for analytical abilities • Experience in using of Excel and BI tools in order to monitor performances and KPIs • Excellent written and verbal communication skills （English） • Collaborative skills ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment • Availability to travel • Luxury fashion house experience preferred but not required. 【語学】

A world-famous luxury brand from Italy. The concept is "making products that reflect the good things of the past in the present." It is this brand that sold the product with the name of the designer for the first time in the world. We have sophisticated items such as apparel, bags, shoes and accessories. The Merchandising Manager/Assistant Manager supports the Merchandising Senior Manager in daily analysis and buying activities as well as participates in regular Store Visits. Key Accountabilities ＊Buying: ・Implement and translate the WW buying strategy at regional level based on market’s specificities/priorities ・Carefully evaluate and define the quantities to be bought by store in cooperation with the Merchandising Manager ・Buy client centric with the objective of tailoring the assortment for each store ・In season analysis and strategy proposal to optimize assortments by store ・ Cooperate with the Merchandising Planning in order to evaluate sales potential by event/store to define the OTB split at store level ・ Evaluate the sales potential of products and collections by functions, lines and price ranges in order to cover different customer segments and nationalities. ・Rationalize and monitor stores' assortment (Newness vs Carryover) ・Manage the stock for the assigned category/s in the Region ・Coordinate with your local Inventory Planning team on defining the rules for stock distribution of Newness & Carry Over ・Work on reorder proposals to take from Corporate Bulk ・Work on in-season cancellation proposals to Merchandising Manager and follow up with local Inventory Planning and Corporate Supply Chain • Assortment review for events, re-openings, closures Analysis and feedback: • Monitor category business in order to maximize business priorities/opportunities • Collect qualitative comments on business performance to support Merchandising Manager in preparation of regular e-mails calls with Corporate Merchandising • Participate in calls with Corporate Merchandising and actively take notes to discuss Actions with Merchandising Manager post meeting • Perform Store Visits on a regular basis to gather qualitative feedback on clients and product trends • Coordinate with local Inventory Planning • Share monthly feedback to the Corporate CDPP Team in cooperation with Merchandising Manager • Monitor sales performance and activate tactical needs accordingly • Analyze stock level, delivery status and merchandise allocation of assigned product categories in collaboration with Inventory Planning and identify growth opportunities ＊Store Visits: • Conduct regular store visits (Gucci & competitors) based on business needs • Help clarify assortments and product buying strategies to store teams (Newness & Carry Over) • Help highlight important product information to store teams already communicated through Digital Training Modules or Gucci To Go to help emphasize their importance • Participate and collaborate with the Local Team to secure product knowledge in stores • Work closely with VM and Retail, spend time in stores and closely monitor the clientele behavior and the market specificities 【企業・ブランド】 ◆ Since opening a leather goods specialty store in Florence, Italy, it has been established as the world's top brand and continues to attract celebrities around the world. |
